Our Mission

To empower veterans transitioning or in need of training for the civilian workforce by providing resources and funding for vocational & certificate training, books, tools, classroom supplies, and certification fees.

Our Vision

Inspiring veterans to reshape their future and build prosperous lives as civilians in their chosen career path.

Three generations of Veterans serving Veterans.

Dr. John P. Barrett Family Foundation was established in 2013 by Dr. John P. Barrett and his family. With three consecutive generations of veterans in his family and the desire to continue supporting education, the foundation decided to re-direct the focus to veterans forming the Barrett Family Veterans Advocacy organization. The change of focus is based on the deep sense of patriotism and gratitude to individuals who served to protect our country.
